LESSONS AND INSTRUCTION

1. Music is one of the very few exercises that fires both sides of the brain. The decoding of the musical staff requires the the power of the left hemisphere which is responsible for logic, math and language. Meanwhile, the right hemisphere, which handles creativity and intuition determines the way a piece is played, as well as the pace, and beauty with which the music is delivered. 
2. Because both sides of the brain are constantly stimulated, musicians go on to score better academically, as well as, creating better self-esteem for their musical accomplishments.

         3.  I make sure each lesson is both fun and enriching

         4.  I provide a clear lesson plan complete with goals, achievement levels, and

               performances.              

          5.  I use a song-based teaching system so my students are learning songs they love 

               while they get the academic benefits of music.

          6.  I don’t overbook myself so my current clients get the full benefit of my energy.

               I’ve seen the benefits of music proven over and over, and I know that I’m teaching so                                   

               much more than music
